As a Material Control and Planning Apprentice at Leonardo, you will be part of a structured training scheme designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to excel in materials management.

You will undertake a series of placements covering production control, material supply, logistics, master production scheduling, and procurement, identifying opportunities and resolving problems as they occur.

Working within a world-class manufacturing environment, you will be supported in your development by our team of in-house experts and become part of a huge community of apprentices working in Leonardo throughout the UK.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 2 x A Levels (Grade A* - C) one of which must be English, Maths or a Business, or an alternative Level 3 qualification in a business-related subject, as well as GCSE (Grade 4 - 9 / Grade A* - C) in Maths and English.

The salary for this role will be £20,000pa, and you will also receive a company-funded benefits package, a commitment to learning and development, and a flexible approach to working hours focused on the needs of both our employees and customers.

As a Material Control and Planning Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment, producing fantastic, world-leading products.

What you'll do as a Material Control Apprentice:

  • You will undertake a series of placements – covering production control, material supply, logistics, master production scheduling, and procurement – identifying opportunities and resolving problems as they occur.
  • You'll experience how we manage the flow of material from initial planning of the requirement through to the shipping of the finished product and how we ensure the process is as efficient as possible.
  • You will be working within world-class manufacturing environment and be supported in your development by our team of in-house experts.
  • You will become part of a huge community of apprentices working in Leonardo, throughout the UK.

What we need from you:

  • 2 x A Levels (Grade A* - C) one of which must be English, Maths or a Business OR
  • An alternative Level 3 qualification, which must be in a business-related subject
  • GCSE (Grade 4 - 9 / Grade A* - C) in Maths and English

The salary for this role will be £20,000pa.
