We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer Commissioning Robotic Systems to join our team at Granta Automation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing software on our systems and all aspects of install/commissioning both at our facility and at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Program and commission our systems to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Meet agreed deadlines for commissioning of equipment and systems, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, particularly in structured text (Beckhoff), and experience with robot programming.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude, with the ability to work with programs for automated machinery.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and stay away from home for on-site work.
- Experience with creating electrical designs for machinery and commissioning machinery.
- Electrical training and qualification, with knowledge of KUKA or other robot programming.
