Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer Commissioning Robotic Systems to join our team at Granta Automation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing software on our systems and all aspects of install/commissioning both at our facility and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program and commission our systems to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  2. Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, to resolve any issues or concerns.
  3. Meet agreed deadlines for commissioning of equipment and systems, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Requirements
  1. Strong understanding of PLC programming, particularly in structured text (Beckhoff), and experience with robot programming.
  2. Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude, with the ability to work with programs for automated machinery.
  3. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and stay away from home for on-site work.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with creating electrical designs for machinery and commissioning machinery.
  2. Electrical training and qualification, with knowledge of KUKA or other robot programming.
