About the Role

We are seeking a talented Paralegal to join our Court of Protection team at Irwin Mitchell. As a specialist in property and affairs applications, you will work closely with our experienced team to support individuals who lack the mental capacity to manage their own finances and affairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to deputies in managing the property and affairs of individuals who have lost capacity due to serious illnesses or elderly clients with conditions such as dementia.
  • Work across multiple caseloads, using your critical thinking skills to solve problems and provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver the best outcomes for our clients in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Contribute to business development opportunities, including converting warm leads into new business.

About You

We are looking for a Fee Earning Paralegal with specialist COP experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to operate with integrity and empathy. You will have a demonstrable understanding of litigation processes and the ability to manage caseloads while maintaining attention to detail.
