About the Job

Fitch Ratings' Financial Institutions Business Relationship Management team is seeking an experienced professional to originate new rating mandates and manage relationships with Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) issuers and other market participants. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and respected global team, contribute to the growth of the FI BRM group, and develop your skills and expertise in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in generating new mandate opportunities, focusing on the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands, as well as contributing to broader EMEA efforts.
  • Analyze the market to identify potential prospects and proactively engage with new issuers, internal stakeholders, and external parties at all stages of the onboarding process.
  • Develop persuasive pitchbooks and business development materials, and generate innovative ideas to support outreach efforts.
  • Organize and conduct client meetings, prepare background information, and work on broader EMEA FI team projects for business development.
  • Represent Fitch at industry events and conferences, building relationships and expanding your network of capital markets professionals.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management system (SalesForce) to record outreach activity, manage opportunities, create agreements, and manage renewals.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), accompanied by attention to detail, ability to build business relationships, and work independently.
  • Strong technical command of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must be a team player with a good work ethic and a curious mindset.
  • University degree, preferably in a finance-related field.
  • Work experience in a position requiring high integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to set priorities, multitask, and monitor workload to meet aggressive deadlines.

Salaries range from £100,000 to £140,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
