Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Care Specialist to join our team in Basingstoke, supporting individuals with learning disabilities/autism/complex needs/mental health conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people who require support. As a Care Specialist, you will work closely with our customers to understand their unique needs and develop personalized care plans to help them achieve their goals.

You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and social activities. You will also maintain accurate records and update care plans as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene (if required)
  • Administer medication (if required)
  • Support with preparing and cooking meals
  • Accompany customers to medical appointments
  • Participate in social activities
  • Encourage independent skills development
  • Maintain accurate records and update care plans
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments
  • Willingness to learn and complete quality support records
