About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at Mapledurham Country Club in Reading. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the course is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all basic gardening tasks, including pruning, weeding, and mowing
  • Operate a range of equipment, including chainsaws and sprayers
  • Work as part of a team to maintain the course and its facilities
  • Ensure the Club's CARE values - Caring, Ambitious, Respectful, and Energised - are upheld in all aspects of your work

Requirements:

  • Qualification in horticulture or a related field (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Experience in gardening or grounds maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
