Job Description:

As a Business Development Manager with the MacFarlane Group, you will be instrumental in spearheading new business growth within the wider Yorkshire region. Your primary objective will be to identify, onboard, and develop new customer accounts, leveraging your expertise in business development and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a business plan to maximize sales within allocated territory while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Adopt a consultative approach with clients to tailor appropriate solutions, developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and the full product range.
  • Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business.
  • Cold call within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong sales administration system, utilizing CRM (MS Dynamics) to follow up on all leads, enquiries, and quotes.
Requirements:
  • Recent B2B field sales/customer-facing experience.
  • Demonstrated record of impressive performance in sales.
  • Ability to learn the business and sector, as well as adapt to a technical solution-based sales approach.
  • A fully valid UK driving license and residence within the wider Yorkshire County area.
