Role Overview
Mental health support teams play a vital role in supporting children and young people. As a Child Mental Health Specialist with North East London NHS Foundation Trust, you will be part of a team that delivers targeted interventions, whole school approaches, and consultation and liaison services. Your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with schools and other agencies to provide mental health support to children and young people.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) to join our team. As an EMHP, you will be responsible for delivering specific therapeutic interventions, conducting mental health assessments, and communicating effectively with children, young people, and parents. You will also contribute to local and county-wide meetings and supervision forums.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver targeted interventions to children and young people, including CBT and solution-focused brief therapy
* Conduct mental health assessments and risk assessments
* Communicate effectively with children, young people, and parents
* Participate in local and county-wide meetings and supervision forums

Requirements
* Successful completion of the Education Mental Health Practitioner course
* Experience in delivering specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people, or their families
* Ability to conduct mental health assessments and communicate effectively with children, young people, and parents

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £38,890 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience.
