Affinity Water's Control And Monitoring System Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and commissioning PLC / HMI / SCADA software using company standard software solutions.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in industrial controls software design (PLC, HMI & SCADA) and a strong understanding of PLC/HMI/SCADA software solutions. A full UK clean/manual driving licence is also required.

We are offering a salary of £65,000 per annum, which reflects the importance of this role in ensuring the smooth operation of our water supply systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively managing ICA Engineer workload and collaborating with peers to deliver all requirements, using KPIs to communicate performance and agree prioritisation within Customer Delivery.
  • Maintaining awareness of changes to asset standards and constructively challenging current or revised standards for efficient business practice.
  • Driving efficiency through identification of optimisation schemes and delivering projects on deadlines.
