Assistant Cardiac Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Cardiology team as an Assistant Cardiac Practitioner. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the delivery of Cardiology services to our Trust, providing a high standard of clinical and patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the ambulatory monitoring service within Cardiac Rhythm Management, ensuring a high standard of clinical and patient care.
  • Participate in a flexible working hours system, adapting to the needs of the team and service.
  • Prepare and hook up ambulatory monitoring devices, including ECG and BP, to ensure accurate and reliable data.
Person Specification
  • Previous NHS experience, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures and patient care.
  • Basic 12-lead ECG interpretation skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Educated to A-level/NVQ level 3, with a strong foundation in healthcare and clinical practice.
  • Experience running clinics independently, with the ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
