About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Accident Repair Technician to join our team at Steer Automotive Group in Glasgow.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Dismantling and reassembling vehicles to manufacturer standards.
  • Conducting thorough inspections to assess damage and identify repair requirements.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the Bodyshop team to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety protocols.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience as a MET Strip/Fitter or in a similar position within the Bodyshop and accident repair industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and Bodyshop equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • A proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are an asset.
