We are seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our First Contact Chefs team, dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences. Our kitchen is passionate about using local produce to create mouth-watering dishes that exceed expectations.

The Job Description

As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and assisting in creating fine dishes using local produce. Your attention to detail and passion for the industry will drive creativity and innovation in menu development.

What We Are Looking For
  • NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent qualifications, demonstrating a solid understanding of food preparation and safety.
  • Food Hygiene Certifications, showcasing a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Good written and spoken English, enabling effective communication with colleagues and guests.
  • A flexible attitude, allowing for adaptability in a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Restaurant or hotel background, bringing valuable experience and expertise to the role.
  • Good communication skills, ensuring seamless teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to the success of the restaurant.
  • A real passion for the industry, driving creativity and innovation in menu development.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and styles, allowing for versatility and precision in dish preparation.

  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in our kitchen team.
