About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team at settle. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our Finance colleagues and various parts of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse financial and non-financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare journals, system and account reconciliations for review and approval.
  • Operate with transparency and maintain excellent record-keeping for audit trails.
  • Prepare financial information for internal and external reporting, including management accounts and reports.
  • Support the management reporting process and provide timely and accurate financial data.
  • Provide year-end support and ensure a smooth transition to the new financial year.
Requirements
  • Methodical, organised, efficient and effective with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in basic accounting, preparing journals and reconciliations.
  • Familiar with month-end processes and able to work under pressure.
  • Previously worked with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong Excel and numeracy skills.
  • Studying towards a CCAB accountancy qualification.
  • Social Housing experience is desirable but not essential.
