About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers
  • Create visually appealing food and counter displays that showcase our culinary expertise
  • Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image through excellent customer service and communication
  • Handle cash and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations at all times
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic and can-do attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent team player with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Strong timekeeping and reliability skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Experience in a similar catering-related role is desirable but not essential
