About the Role
A&P Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Officer to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain awareness of potential risks and hazards within the workplace
- Monitor conformance with health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as A&P procedures
- Carry out or assist others in investigation, reporting, and recommending action on accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances
- Provide advice on health, safety, environmental, and quality matters to line management and the wider team
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with legislation in a professional and competent manner
- Develop and implement effective risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Ensure all teams, including sub-contractors, customer representatives, and visitors, receive Health and Safety training
- Issue, validate, monitor, and control permits in accordance with A&P procedures
Requirements
- NEBOSH general certificate or NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Experience working within the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) function in an industrial or engineering environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varied shift patterns, including night shifts and weekends, and be on-call during unsociable hours

Security Clearance
