Designate Team Leader

At SPAR, we're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our management team as a Designate Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and store standards, leading from the front and taking accountability when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are out of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment, induction, and training of new team members to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Be a positive role model to the team, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and a commitment to our company values.
  • Ensure the store is safe for colleagues and customers, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and presented store, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Support the successful running of the store, working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve our goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven team leadership experience within the retail industry, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work positively and lead a team to achieve results, with a focus on customer satisfaction and store performance.
