About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Humanities to join our team at Star Academies. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, inspiring them to achieve academic excellence and develop a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students, using a range of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to measure student progress and achievement.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded and comprehensive education.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the values of respect, empathy, and excellence.
Requirements
  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject area, such as History, Geography, or Languages.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching Humanities subjects to students aged 11-18.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning.
