Physiotherapy Specialist

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a B6 Physiotherapist to further their career and develop their leadership and management skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will work across a range of clinical areas, including medicine, surgery, and neurology, and will be responsible for assessing, formulating treatment plans, and goal setting for patients with diverse needs.
As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and successful transitions for patients. You will also have opportunities to develop your professional leadership and management skills through on-the-job learning, supervision, and in-service training.

Key responsibilities:
- Assess and formulate treatment plans for patients with diverse needs
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and successful transitions
- Develop professional leadership and management skills through on-the-job learning, supervision, and in-service training
- Contribute to the development of the therapy team and the wider Trust
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Qualified Physiotherapist with a broad range of post-qualification experience
- Current HCPC registration
- Evidence of experience using specialist equipment, including respiratory
- Documented evidence of experience doing shifts within an acute respiratory on-call out of hours service
- Experience as a student supervisor
- Clear desire for wanting to work in UHS therapy service
- Clear expressed desire for undertaking a generic rotation in an acute Trust
- Clear knowledge of NHS systems
- Good written and verbal communication
