SHE Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Technician to join our team at Carr's Billington Agriculture. As an SHE Technician, you will play a vital role in promoting a positive SHE culture across all our divisions and sites.

Carr's Billington Agriculture is a subsidiary company of The Billington Group, which also owns Criddle & Co., English Provender Company, and Billington Foods. We provide rural and agricultural communities with the support they need to succeed, offering a range of products and services to help them achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will assist the Head of Health, Safety & Environment in implementing, monitoring, and updating Company policies, procedures, training, and practices. You will promote a positive SHE culture, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and work efficiently in all situations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing an apprenticeship in Safety, Health & Environment Level 3, NEBOSH General Certificate, and NEBOSH Environment.
• Developing and updating health and safety policies and procedures based on industry standards and regulations.
• Communicating and distributing policies to all employees, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
• Collaborating with departments to integrate health and safety requirements into daily operations.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Excellent experience of MS Office products and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience within an administrative role.
• Knowledge of the Carr's Billington Business Divisions.

A salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this position.
