About the Role

We are seeking experienced teachers to mark scripts for our International GCSE Human Biology examination. As an Examiner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the assessment process is fair, consistent, and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mark scripts accurately and consistently to maintain overall standards
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Complete all administration tasks as specified

Requirements

  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant subject
  • A degree or equivalent qualification
  • Qualification as a teacher

Competencies

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme

Additional Information

  • The marking period is between May and July
  • Training will take place between May and June
