Capital Modelling Lead Role

AIG is seeking a highly skilled Capital Modelling Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Economic Capital Modelling Team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and testing of new models for both AIG's Group and Local Economic Capital Models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new modelling methods and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met and model outputs are accurate.
  • Participate in working groups to develop new methodologies and metrics.
  • Present model changes and developments to Risk Committees.
  • Document models and interact with the Internal Model Validation team.
  • Coach and train Analysts on Capital Modelling.

Requirements

  • Degree in a quantitative field.
  • Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary.
  • Extensive experience as a GI Economic Capital Modeller.
  • Strong experience in stochastic modelling techniques.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II and other regulatory regimes.
  • Experience in large projects and team coordination.
  • Strong quality control and review skills.
