About the Job

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Bench Joiner to join our team in Edinburgh EH6.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bench Joiner to work on various projects in a busy workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and be proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as being comfortable with machinery and able to make furniture to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work on a variety of projects in the workshop, utilizing skills and experience in joinery
  • To ensure all work meets the required standards of quality and precision
  • To read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete tasks effectively
  • To maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • NVQ/C&G or Time-Served Qualified, with past experience also being considered
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions

The job will involve working in a fast-paced workshop environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging between £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will benefit from working with a well-established company that values its employees and provides opportunities for growth and development.
