Make a Difference in the Lives of Families

The Early Intervention & Prevention Service at Wakefield Council is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated casual staff to join our team in supporting vibrant baby, children and family groups and programmes within the Wakefield district.

About the Role:

  • Work directly with babies, children and families to support the delivery of groups and programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Prioritise the wellbeing and safety of babies, children and families by actively promoting the safeguarding agenda and promptly sharing relevant information with Line Manager/Team Manager.

What We're Looking For:

  • Availability: Candidates need to be regularly available, especially during the daytime and school holidays.
  • Mobility: The ability to travel easily around the district is essential.
  • We encourage candidates with previous experience working with babies, children and families to apply.
