About the Role
As a Senior Financial Accountant for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, you will play a crucial role in maintaining governance and control over the fixed asset base of the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining the fixed asset records, ensuring accurate registers are up-to-date, and providing expert advice on capital investment decisions, impairment reviews, and analysis of capital spend.
You will work closely with the business to ensure compliance with IFRS and FReM standards, producing regular monthly reports to Boards and contributing to the DVSA's capital strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent accounting standards and technical skills, who can apply their expertise to drive financial performance and contribute to the growth and development of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset records, including the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date registers.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
