About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Electrical Site Supervisor within our Construction team.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage electrical site activities effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading site electrical installations and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Managing new electrical systems and performing safe isolations of LV electrical systems.
  • Overseeing supply chain performance and programme, reviewing and updating supplier inspection and test plans as necessary.
  • Participating in site inductions and toolbox talks, supporting commissioning activities and collaborative planning meetings.
  • Maintaining electrical safety rules and ensuring supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP electrical safety rules.
  • Conducting regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
  • Engaging with supply chain supervisors to ensure take 5s are carried out.
  • Contributing to project takeover documentation and overseeing electrical testing being undertaken in line with BS7671.

Essential Qualifications:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS – Mandatory.
  • Appointed Person Status – Mandatory.
  • FAAW – Mandatory.
  • ECS card – Mandatory.
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations – Mandatory.
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations – Mandatory.
  • IEE 18th edition wiring regs – Mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a similar role – Essential.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.
