We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Retirement Villages Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, planning and creating high-quality dishes and menus, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Food Production and Management
- Plan, organize, and direct the preparation and cooking of food to ensure high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of culinary staff to achieve exceptional results.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Menu Planning and Development
- Design and create menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Financial Management
- Manage food costs, including inventory control, pricing, and budgeting.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and customers.
