Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager

Job Overview

A leading chartered accountancy practice in Canterbury is seeking an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team. This is a pivotal role within the business, overseeing the delivery of a quality audit and accounts service, while leading the delivery of project work.

Key Responsibilities


  • Liaise with clients and manage client expectations.
  • Organise and run accounting and audit assignments for the portfolio.
  • Supervise and review staff output, primarily accounts for audit production.
  • Report directly to the Partner and attend client meetings.
  • Review accounts and corporation tax deliverables.
  • Work within an existing team of Managers and Partners to further develop and support the growth of the office and development of the team.


Requirements


  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Extensive audit experience, working within a Practice environment.
  • Confident and comfortable providing exceptional client service and delivery.
  • A dynamic approach - adapts quickly to change and is able to find smart ways to deliver the best result.


Benefits


  • £40,000- £50,000 dependent on experience.
