We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to join our team in Basildon, Essex. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring our service users receive tailored support that meets their unique requirements.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and lead a team of support workers, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages staff growth and development.

  • To act as a role model for staff, fostering an atmosphere of empathy, understanding, and respect for the people we support.

  • Regular supervision and coaching of staff members to enhance their skills and confidence in delivering high-quality care.

  • Active engagement with service users, families, and other stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve lifestyles and promote empowerment.

  • Maintenance of accurate records and documentation, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols and regulatory standards.

  • Collaboration with colleagues to deliver seamless care services, upholding our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential for this role.

  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, but not necessary for motivated and enthusiastic candidates.

  • A full driving license would be advantageous due to the rural location, although not mandatory.

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure, think critically, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues, service users, and their families.

  • A genuine passion for working with vulnerable adults, coupled with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding.

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to pursue one, demonstrating a proactive approach to professional development.

  • Experience supporting individuals with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and mental health issues is highly desirable.
