We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to join our team in Basildon, Essex. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs.
About the Role:
You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring our service users receive tailored support that meets their unique requirements.
Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and lead a team of support workers, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages staff growth and development.
To act as a role model for staff, fostering an atmosphere of empathy, understanding, and respect for the people we support.
Regular supervision and coaching of staff members to enhance their skills and confidence in delivering high-quality care.
Active engagement with service users, families, and other stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve lifestyles and promote empowerment.
Maintenance of accurate records and documentation, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols and regulatory standards.
Collaboration with colleagues to deliver seamless care services, upholding our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential for this role.
Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, but not necessary for motivated and enthusiastic candidates.
A full driving license would be advantageous due to the rural location, although not mandatory.
The ability to remain calm under pressure, think critically, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues, service users, and their families.
A genuine passion for working with vulnerable adults, coupled with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding.
Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to pursue one, demonstrating a proactive approach to professional development.
Experience supporting individuals with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and mental health issues is highly desirable.
