Automotive Trainer

Job Summary: We are seeking a temporary Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our team at our Warwickshire campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering theory and practical sessions in levels 1-3 motor vehicle courses.

Salary and Benefits: This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £25-£35 per hour, paid on a 37-hour contract basis. As an employee of T3am International, you will have access to a range of benefits that support your personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students working towards their levels 1-3 motor vehicle qualifications.
• Deliver both practical and theory sessions.
• Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Manage and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Mark work, track student progress, and provide feedback to support individual learning plans.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a workshop/automotive environment.
• NVQ/C&G/IMI qualification in motor vehicles or a similar subject area.
• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge of motor vehicles, light vehicle chassis, engines, and transmission systems.
• Previous experience in a supervisory/tutoring position.
• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience working as a lecturer or in a similar role in a college/higher education setting.
• Relevant teaching qualifications.
