About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Civil Enforcement Officer to join our Parking Services team at North Somerset Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking restrictions and Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) offences across the district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol Council car parks and on-street areas to enforce parking restrictions and PSPO offences
  • Issue parking enforcement notices and collect evidence
  • Collect evidence of PSPO offences
  • Maintain and check pay and display machines
  • Conduct health and safety checks in car parks
  • Display signage and equipment as required
  • Maintain car parks as required
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to visitors
  • Assist with local events as required
  • Check Blue Badges

Requirements

  • Valid driving licence or ability to use alternative methods of travel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professionalism and integrity at all times
