We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sterile Services Technician to join our team at STERIS. As a Sterile Services Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables and equipment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the effective preparation of sterile consumables and equipment by decontamination, inspection, assembly, and packing within predefined quality standards.
- Rigorously check, wash, lay up, and pack sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
- Safely operate and monitor machines and equipment, including washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic, and sterilizers, effectively.
- Record and log repairs and missing instruments or equipment on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
- Return repaired instruments or equipment to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust's appointed person.
- An annual salary of £22,383.00 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours.
