Apex Resource Management is seeking a highly skilled Technical Quality and Supplier Development Specialist to join our team on a six-month contract, based in the UK. This role is pivotal to ensuring quality and efficiency in our supplier processes, specifically focusing on PPAP, part approval tracking, and supplier development. Your work will play a crucial role in meeting quality, capacity, and cost targets that align with the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote collaborative practices that enhance the company's profitability and project outcomes.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough supplier and part risk assessments, developing actionable strategies to address and mitigate identified risks.
  • Supplier Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to the Purchasing and Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Program team, covering open issues, PPAP part tracking, and delivery forecasts.
  • Quality and Capacity Verification: Ensure that suppliers meet the company's Development Process targets for quality and capacity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work alongside suppliers to develop and implement improvement strategies that enhance production efficiency and meet the company's quality standards.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within the automotive sector.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a focus on meeting quality and delivery targets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this position, along with other benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
