Electrical Engineering Trainer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Trainer to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). As an Electrical Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to apprentices and learners in the field of electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs in electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Manage and maintain physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to integrate relevant training offers into apprenticeship schemes.
  • Monitor the learning environment and ensure learner safety and well-being.
  • Support learners in achieving their apprenticeship goals and provide regular constructive feedback.
Requirements:
  • High level of electrical engineering knowledge and experience in industrial settings.
  • Proven track record in delivering electrical principles and industrial electrical control training.
  • Experience in lean practices and training delivery.
  • Industry-related qualifications such as HND or NVQs.
  • 18th Edition qualification for industrial electrical engineering.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSEs in Maths and English.
