Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to support the educational and personal development of students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Support teachers in creating and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and report on student progress.
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting student development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Current enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for a new one.
