About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant.

Your focus will be to support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring resident wellbeing and implementing changes to care plans as needed.
  • Being involved in person-centred care planning and implementing monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with medication requirements and undertaking staff supervisions.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, and professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

About You

To be successful, you will need an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, at least 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff is essential, as is flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
