Agency Chemotherapy Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes, working on a temporary contract with a nationally recognized specialist provider of Cancer Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a range of treatments to oncology patients, including bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, and IM/SC injections.
  • Work independently, using your expertise and judgment to make decisions about patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
  • Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £43 - £48 per hour (based on experience)
  • Guaranteed agency shifts for 6 - 12 months
  • Mileage expenses
  • Monday to Friday role, with approximately 8 hours per day, working 4 or 5 days per week
  • No bank holiday working
