H&G Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join our team on an ongoing temporary basis. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for carrying out trunking duties to national and regional distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out trunking duties to national and regional distribution centers
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including standard, long, and high curtain siders and boxes
  • Deliver palletized goods and cage deliveries
  • Work a variety of shifts, including days and nights

Requirements:

  • HGV C+E Class 1 license
  • Minimum 2 years' driving experience
  • Full HGV C+E license with no more than six points for minor endorsements
  • Digital tacho and updated driver qualification cards
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours, regulations, and working time directive
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • Customer-focused attitude
