Senior Software Engineer - Embedded Systems Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Cardiff, UK. As a key member of our Physical Access Control Solutions Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure identity solutions using embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software for embedded devices running Linux and RTOS
  • Implement secure boot mechanisms to protect sensitive data
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate new technologies and features
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in professional software development
  • Expertise in embedded systems, Linux, and RTOS
  • Strong understanding of secure boot mechanisms and data protection
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
