About the Role
- You will be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming shipments, verifying their quality and accuracy, and organizing them in designated locations.
- Able to lift heavy loads and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload shipments from delivery vehicles and transport them to storage areas using manual or mechanized handling equipment.
- Inspect received materials for any signs of damage or discrepancies, reporting issues promptly to management.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated locations according to predetermined systems and procedures.
- Accurately select and prepare items for shipment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
- No prior experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a valid driving license is preferred, but not required.
