Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Speech and Behavioural Support Specialist

At EdEx, we are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students aged 11-19 with Severe, Complex and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and ASD. Your role will involve working with children who have a range of complex needs, including learning, behavioural and physical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work with children who have a range of complex needs, including learning, behavioural and physical needs.
• To demonstrate resilience in managing the behaviour of children with complex needs.
• To remain calm under pressure and be able to manage challenging situations.

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with SEN, particularly PMLD & SLD.
• A keen interest in SEN, Teaching and Child-Psychology.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide holistic support to students.
