Electrical Inspection and Installation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspection and Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our electrical testing and inspection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of electrical installations across various commercial settings.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical safety regulations, including UK Health and Safety Regulations. You will be required to carry out thorough inspections and tests on electrical installations, identifying any potential hazards or defects and providing recommendations for remedial action.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be expected to provide excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out thorough inspections and tests on electrical installations to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations
  • Identify and report any potential hazards or defects, providing recommendations for remedial action
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to implement effective solutions and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Requirements:
  • SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
  • Certification in Electrical Testing and Inspection (e.g., IPAF 3a & 3b license)
  • Proven experience working in an electrical testing environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
