Job Title: NHS Technology Management Specialist

Estimated Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 per annum

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced NHS Technology Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the IT Department, you will be responsible for leading the development of multiple short, medium, and long-term projects and programmes of work that support the delivery of the Trust's strategy and vision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT, with experience in delivering large-scale change management projects and service redesign within the NHS environment. You will also possess expert analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of multiple short, medium, and long-term projects and programmes of work that support the delivery of the Trust's strategy and vision.
  • Hold specialist knowledge of IT and experience working in a senior management role, managing a range of IT day-to-day support services.
  • Analyse highly complex data, facts, documents, or wider contexts to make quality-led, informed decisions regarding the design, configuration, and build of highly technical solutions delivered to operational departments within the Trust.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters-level qualification in an IT or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • In-depth specialist knowledge of IT.
  • Expert experience in the wider IT industry.
  • Operational experience in a senior management role, managing a range of IT day-to-day support services.
