Behaviour Mentor Job Description

Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work closely with a challenging pupil with Autism in a well-respected Primary School in Hammersmith & Fulham.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and will be able to provide individualised support to help the student manage their behaviour.

This is a crucial role in helping the student achieve their full potential and make progress in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to the student to help them manage their behaviour
  • Work closely with the student's teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Support the student in developing their social and emotional skills
  • Monitor and record the student's progress and provide regular feedback to the student and their teachers

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Education, Psychology, Social Work)
  • Experience working with children with Autism or other Special Educational Needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
