Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a Network Technician in the Gloucester area.

You'll be accountable to the Team Manager for constructing, maintaining, and repairing underground and overhead networks up to 66kV.

Main Responsibilities
  • Network operations, including issuing Limitations of Access and Permit to Work safety documents up to 66kV.
  • Constructing distribution substations, altering overhead lines, and installing plant.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty plant, cables, and overhead lines.
  • Recording asset routes, details, and positions.
Requirements

You must have grade A*-C/4-9 GCSEs in English and Maths or Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications in both subjects.

In addition, you must hold a City & Guilds 2339 Level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering.

Please note that evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.

Competitive Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
