We are seeking a seasoned expert in alternative investments to join our team at Scope Group in Frankfurt. With a strong understanding of the financial industry and analytical skills, this individual will play a crucial role in enhancing our analytical capabilities and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Head of Alternative Investments in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Scope Fund Analysis and clients, fostering effective communication and building strong relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve our analytical capabilities, incorporating qualitative and quantitative fund aspects such as structural risks, operational risks, legal and regulatory considerations.
  • Monitor existing ratings, providing timely recommendations for reviews and updates to ensure our assessments remain accurate and relevant.
  • Create and manage peer groups, facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing among team members.
  • Conduct discussions with clients, investors, and asset managers, delivering presentations, explanations, and briefings at a highly professional level.
  • Collaborate closely with other Alternative Investments team members, staff, and management in Scope Fund Analysis, coordinating junior analysts' workload and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Produce high-quality, insightful, and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basis, driving informed decision-making within the organization.
  • Guide team members in producing regular performance reports and analyses, ensuring consistency and accuracy in our output.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry, demonstrating analytical and quantitative skills and a solid understanding of alternative investments.
  • Extensive knowledge of private markets, including private equity and debt, infrastructure, and real estate.
  • A willingness to take responsibility and demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude, driving innovation and growth within the organization.
  • An independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex challenges and develop creative solutions.
  • A multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive, and detail-oriented personality, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in research writing, with strong written and oral communication skills, enabling effective communication of complex ideas and insights.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and motivate others, driving results-oriented performance and achievement within the organization.
