Quality Assurance Specialist

Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's quality management system is compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes, as well as experience in conducting internal audits and managing compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the local Quality Management System is compliant to the agreed scope, whilst maintaining ISO 9001:2015.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to evaluate and develop new products or changes related to current products.
  • Support and monitor quality KPIs through the project phase to ensure project targets are being achieved.
  • Manage non-conformance and concern management.
  • Coordinate customer, supplier, and internal quality concerns, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Implement and manage robust quality control systems and processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule and plan internal audits at appropriate intervals, addressing raised issues, and implementing corrective actions to close out non-conformances.
  • Manage and maintain customer-specific certifications and audits aligned to their expectations.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and experience in an ISO-compliant environment.
  • Previous experience conducting internal audits and managing compliance systems.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D.
  • Ability to manage systems to ensure process input variables are in specification.
  • Knowledge and experience of inspection processes and equipment.
