About the Role:

We are recruiting for a healthcare teaching specialist to work with our client's academy in Peterborough.

This is a long-term temporary position that requires a highly motivated and adaptable individual who can provide high-quality education to students.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching A-level health and social care, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons on health and social care topics.
  • Evaluate student performance through various assessment methods, including assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in health and social care to inform teaching practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
  • Relevant professional experience in the health and social care sector.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as opportunities for career advancement and personal growth.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, demonstrating their commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
