Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Integration Specialist to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. As a key member of our Platform Complex Systems Team, you will be responsible for delivering sophisticated distributed control and communication systems for the SSNA program.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Systems Engineering – IVV process and practices in complex software-intensive systems, with a focus on integration, validation, and verification. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to ensure that all aspects of the project meet contractual requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in the integration, validation, and verification of systems.
  • Planning, preparation, and undertaking integration of the system of interest from its elements, ensuring interfaces work as expected and accumulated functionality is delivered.
  • Ensure compliance against contractual requirements and company processes, standards, procedures, and documentation.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a BSc degree in Engineering or equivalent STEM-related subject, significant knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering, and a strong working understanding of Product Safety and SHE. Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not essential.
