We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Cygnet Thornfield House in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This 6-9 month temporary role offers a chance to lead and mentor a team of caregivers, supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviors.

About the Role

This Deputy Home Manager role is a pivotal position within our care home, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our residents. As a member of our management team, you will work closely with colleagues to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and external agencies.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting a culture of excellence and respect.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies enhancing resident outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, contributing to informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior care role, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CQC regulations and the Mental Health Capacity Act.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care (desirable).
Salary and Benefits
