Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, diagnosing, and managing Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage complex caseloads of children and young people with ADHD and additional mental health difficulties.
  • Provide high-quality assessments and interventions appropriate to the child or young person's needs.
  • Work collaboratively with children, young people, and their families/carers to develop and implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Relevant post-qualification experience of working with children and young people.
  • Proven experience of working effectively with children and young people with ADHD and additional mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of mentoring and supervision of others.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
